Using Quick Replies in the Inbox

Save common messages your team can send in one tap: title, message, an optional /shortcut, and attachments โ€” plus how to filter them by team and connection.

Quick Replies are saved messages your team can drop into a chat in one tap โ€” the answers you send over and over (greetings, shipping info, thank-yous). They keep replies fast and consistent across your whole team. Manage them under Settings → Inbox → Quick Replies.

Creating a quick reply

Click New Quick Reply and fill in:

  • Title โ€” a name so you (and your team) can find the reply.
  • Message โ€” the text that gets sent.
  • Shortcut (optional) โ€” a trigger you type to insert it instantly, for example /thanks. Type the shortcut in the chat and the full message drops in.
  • Attachments (optional) โ€” add files or images. Each attachment is sent as its own message, in the order shown.

Using them in the inbox

In a conversation, agents insert a quick reply either by typing its shortcut (like /thanks) or by opening the quick-replies picker and choosing one. It's the fastest way to answer common questions without retyping.

Keep them organized

You can filter quick replies by team and by connection, so each part of your business sees the replies that are relevant to it โ€” for example, different replies for sales versus support.

Tip: agree on a simple shortcut convention with your team (/ship, /hello, /refund) so everyone can fire the right reply from memory.

What's next

For richer, structured interactions, pair quick replies with WhatsApp Flows and approved templates.
