Custom Fees let you add an extra charge to orders — a cash-on-delivery fee, packaging, handling, or any surcharge your business applies. Manage them at https://v2.egrow.com/custom-fees.
Creating a fee
Each custom fee is simple to set up:
- Title — the name of the fee as it appears on the order (for example COD fee or Packaging).
- Value type — Percentage (a share of the order) or Fixed amount (a flat charge).
- Value — the number itself.
- Status — turn the fee on or off. A disabled fee stops applying without you having to delete it.
How fees behave
Custom fees are the opposite of discounts: instead of reducing the total, they add to it. Use a fixed fee for flat charges (like a COD handling fee) and a percentage fee when the charge should scale with the order value.
Tip: keep fee titles clear and honest — customers see them on the order, and a vague charge is a common reason for cancellations at delivery.
