Creating Upsell Offers in eGrow

Raise your average order value with reusable offers: name, headline, apply mode (manual/auto), trigger type (all orders, order value, or trigger products), rewards, and how offers appear during confirmation.

Upsells increase your average order value by offering the customer more โ€” an extra item, a bundle, or an add-on โ€” at the moment they're buying. In eGrow you build reusable offers that appear as suggestions during order confirmation. Manage them at https://v2.egrow.com/upsell.

Building an offer

Each upsell offer has a few parts:

  • Offer name โ€” an internal label so you can find it.
  • Headline โ€” the short pitch shown when the offer appears.
  • Apply mode โ€” Manual (the agent chooses to apply the offer during confirmation) or Auto (eGrow applies it for you when it matches).
  • Priority โ€” when several offers could match, priority decides which is shown first.

When the offer triggers

The Trigger type decides which orders see the offer:

  • All orders โ€” the offer is eligible on every order.
  • Order value โ€” only when the order is above a minimum order value you set.
  • Trigger products / categories โ€” only when the order contains specific products or categories. You add the products (or whole categories) that should trigger it, with optional price conditions.

The reward

Under rewards, you pick the item(s) the customer gets with the offer and the quantity, at a special price. In plain terms, an offer reads like “Buy X, get Y at a special price” โ€” a classic, effective upsell.

How it works day to day

During order confirmation, matching offers appear as upsell suggestions. The agent can apply or decline each one on the call โ€” and with Auto mode, eligible offers are applied automatically. eGrow tracks your upsell rate and upsell revenue per agent in Analytics, so you can see exactly how much extra your offers earn.

Tip: start with one strong, obvious offer (a popular add-on to a best-seller) on Manual mode so your agents learn the pitch, then expand.
