Organizing Conversations with Labels

Tag conversations with colored labels to filter, prioritize and route your inbox. How to create labels and use them (including automatic labeling by the AI agent).

Labels are colored tags you attach to conversations to bring order to a busy inbox. With a handful of well-chosen labels you can instantly see which chats need a follow-up, which are complaints, which are wholesale, or which are VIPs — and filter your inbox down to exactly the ones that matter right now. Manage them at https://v2.egrow.com/inbox/labels.

Creating and managing labels

On the Labels page you see all your labels and can add new ones:

  1. Click Create label.
  2. Give it a clear, short name — the word your whole team will recognize (e.g. Follow-up, Complaint, Wholesale, VIP).
  3. Pick a color so it stands out at a glance in the conversation list — for example red for complaints, green for VIPs.

You can edit a label's name or color, or delete one you no longer use, at any time. Because labels are shared across your team, everyone tags conversations the same way.

Using labels in the inbox

Open a conversation and apply one or more labels to categorize it. Then in the Inbox you can filter by label to focus on a single group — for instance, work through everyone tagged Follow-up at the start of the day, or jump straight to Complaint conversations so they never wait.

Automatic labeling

Labels aren't only manual. Your AI Agent can add a label to a conversation on its own as it handles chats — for example tagging conversations it couldn't resolve so a human picks them up, or categorizing by topic. That keeps your inbox organized even on the conversations no person has opened yet.

Tip: keep your label set small and meaningful. Five labels everyone applies consistently are far more useful than twenty that people use differently — agree on what each one means with your team, then stick to it.
