Why Meta locks a WABA
- Business information is incomplete.
- No website is added, or the website is invalid โ this is the most common cause by far.
- Business verification is pending or was rejected.
- Activity Meta considers suspicious or non-compliant.
How to fix it
- Update your business information. Meta Business Manager โ Business Info: legal business name, address, phone number, website, business category.
- Check Account Quality. Review any warning or rejected item and fix whatever breaches policy.
- Verify your business in Security Center if it is not verified yet, uploading official documents.
- Contact Meta support if everything is correct and the lock remains โ open a ticket quoting error #131031.
Good to know: A missing or invalid website is the single most frequent reason for this lock. Add a real, reachable website before anything else.
