A Catalogue lets customers browse and buy your products right inside WhatsApp. You connect a Meta (Facebook) catalog to your WhatsApp Business number, and eGrow keeps it in sync with your eGrow products. Manage it at https://v2.egrow.com/inbox/catalogues.
Connecting a catalogue
Choose a WhatsApp connection, then Choose a Catalogue to link a Meta catalog to it. You can change or disconnect it anytime โ disconnecting doesn't delete your products, and you can reconnect later.
What customers see
- Show catalogue icon in chat header โ adds an icon to your chat header and business profile so customers can open your catalogue easily.
- Show “Add to cart” button โ lets customers add items to a cart while browsing; the cart icon appears in chats and product lists. (Turning it off doesn't affect carts you've already received.)
When a customer sends their cart, eGrow can turn it into an order automatically โ enable Create orders from WhatsApp carts in Inbox Settings.
Keeping products in sync
Your eGrow catalog and your Meta catalog stay aligned in both directions:
- Auto-sync products on incoming orders (pull) โ when a customer orders from the WhatsApp catalogue, the ordered items are pulled fresh from Meta and saved or updated locally, in the background.
- Auto-push product updates โ when you edit a product or variant in eGrow, the change is pushed to the linked Meta catalogue automatically (it mirrors already-linked products; brand-new products are synced manually first).
You can also run a sync on demand: Push to catalog (send eGrow products to Meta) or Pull from catalog (import from Meta), each with a scope of all or selected products.
Linking products
Under Linked products you map your eGrow products and variants to their entries in the Meta catalog, so sync knows which item is which. Search the Meta catalog and Link to Meta to connect them.
